The country shipped 1,628 metric tons (MT) of which around 68% was destined to the U.S., while U.K. buyers purchased 14% and 10% went to continental Europe, according to data from the Argentinean Blueberry Committee (ABC).

Accumulated volume in the season to week 46 was 7.7% higher year-on-year than in 2011, while continental European purchases were up 40%.

In contrast to Argentina’s biggest markets, accumulated shipments to Asia and Canada were down by 8% and 2.5% respectively.
